The Dress

This dress was everything I hoped for as I was going to have a 1920s/Gatsby themed wedding. It is a corded lace and tulle fit and flare gown with illusion lace straps, a curved V-neckline and dropped waist. The attribute I loved most about the dress was the unique illusion and lace geometrical back detail which was so special. It has a large lace cage skirt over stretch lining and a chapel train. There is also intricate but subtle beading all over the dress.
The dress made me feel glamorous, classy and sexy all at the same time. It was a little bit too big when I first tried it on so may need some alterations and taking in for anyone who is normally a size 18 (especially with the straps and top half). The wasit/hips area is quite generous too. It is a size 20 from the designer's curvy collection and the colour is diamond white. You may need to have the very bottom of the dress altered as it was a little shorter than I anticipated as I wanted to wear heels (see images).
The dress is in absolutely perfect condition as it is brand new. I tried it on twice but never got to wear it as my wedding was cancelled. I would absolutely love to keep it for a possible future wedding, but I did not want to associate it with the heartbreak I went through. I hope it can be another bride's dream come true!
