The Dress

Purchased at Christmas time 2014. Worn Sept. 5th, 2015

Hand made in Oakville ON. Off white/ivory, 100% French silk. Limited edition.

Sweetheart neckline, beads along neckline, bead clusters at skirt pick-ups. Hooks underneath to create bustle.

I had on close to 50 dresses before finding this one. When it was on the hanger I was somewhat skeptical, but once I had it on it was the only dress that pleasantly surprised me. I really enjoyed that it accentuated my best attributes and made me look slimmer. I have a beautiful beaded belt that I didn’t wear at all. Willing to throw in the jewelry I bought/made also.

Worn for ceremony and reception, about 8 hours. The fabric is not torn at all. Some beads fell off, but the designer sent me some extras and I have replaced them. Will give you the remaining extras as well.

Altered to more like a size 15
bust: 41.5", waist: 35.5", hip: 43 UB: 36",
HB: 37.5", TL: 51"
My height is about 5'3.5". I was closer to 5'5" with shoes on.
