The Dress

Worn once for my wedding, then professionally dry cleaned.

No alternation made to the straps, waist, bodice, beading, etc. The only alteration was that I had my seamstress turn the gigantic train (which was impossible to bustle due to the delicate tulle which would have torn) into a sweep/court train so that it can be walked and danced in but still has drama. It was $1000 to shorten the train because my amazing seamstress spent a lot of hours reattaching the horsehair trim so the upper layers laid perfectly (in one picture the horsehair is visible because my layers got jostled. but it's all covered when standing as shown in other photos)

I paired it with a chapel length cape veil which looked amazing and matched perfectly (happy to provide the etsy link if you want)

It is so comfortable and lightweight feeling, but the cups kept me feeling secure. I had it professionally dry cleaned after wearing it.

I usually wear a size 8 because my hips are bigger, but this would also fit a size 6. This dress is only fitted in the top and waist, so hip size won't make a difference in this dress.

There is a small flaw in one of the underneath layers of tulle about the size of a thumbnail, it's not at all visible with the dress on, but please see the video to see it.
