The Dress

The dress that makes you feel like a TRUE goddess! Unique and singular, but not over-the-top, my amazing Alon Livne White wedding gown was the dress of my dreams and more! It flatters in all the right places, and let my natural beauty shine through while adding just the right amount of structure to flatter the figure. It's a true stunner, and I continue to get compliments on it more than 3 months after the wedding. Pictures do not do it justice! The pleating and draping along the fitted bodice made me feel like a modern Greek Goddess, and the v-back is so flattering. It has a chapel train and I have added a French bustle.

About me - I'm tall (6' without heels), with a small bust (34B), slim waist, and curvy hips - typically a size 28 in jeans. I wore spanx under this dress, but probably didn't need them because the fabric is pretty substantial without looking or feeling heavy.

Note: I've had it very thoroughly cleaned at one of NYC's top wedding gown cleaners that uses all non-toxic products (hello my fellow women with sensitive skin!). The only remaining show of use is around the hemline on the inside, where there is some minimal signs of dirt. But the gorgeous satin material on the outside, including the beautiful draping and pleating on the bodice, is pristine!

Alterations

Alon Livne White gowns are not made to a specific size, rather they are made to your measurements. I selected a tag size of 8 as an estimate based on other dresses I tried on from other designers. I also typically wear a size 6 (sometimes a 4, sometimes an 8, depending on who makes the dress).
