The Dress

Dress was purchased at David’s Bridal in 2010. Worn once and kept in the garment bag ever since. In excellent condition. Dress was shortened from a high/low style to be the same length all around. I am 5’10, about 150lbs and had about a 36c cup at the time. Dress is a size 10. It was perfect for a summer beach wedding and was very comfortable. Best of all, it has POCKETS! Deep pockets too! Easily can fit tissues, lipstick, a special memento from a family member who couldn’t be there, or anything else you need for your big day!

I wore a strapless bra and there is boning in the bodice to provide additional support. Great for a girl who doesn’t need a lot of sparkle of bling to shine on her wedding day. The floral/pearl appliqué in the front is a lovely decoration under the sweat heart neckline and makes pearls an easy choice to accessorize with.

Very minor discoloration on the inner top of the back, just from normal wear that day. Dry cleaning should take care of that, plus it’s inside and not noticeable while wearing.

Alterations

The original dress was high/low style but was shorted to fall just under the knee all around. It had a layer of tulle removed but still has a second layer of thin fabric under the outside layer to give it some volume. The waist was not taken in during alterations.
