The Dress

Vivienne Westood Cora Cocotte gown 2022 Made to Order Bridal collection.
This dress has to be seen in person to be believed. The workmanship and construction is beyond.
Internal corset is spectacular and iconic Westwood.
NOTE: this dress is completely unaltered.

Straight from the Westwood Atelier, Purchased from The Loft Bridal in Hong Kong (no stockists in Australia!)- I put it on and was gobsmacked about the fit - it literally needed nothing.
SIZING:
For reference, I am an AU 10, and the UK 12 fit me well (note I don’t like things too tight, and I have D boobs). the measurements I have posted up are the Vivienne Westwood measurements from their size guide. I feel like if you were smaller than an 8 (or a were a very small 8) the dress would need some alterations (but, as it has not been altered whatsoever, there should be plenty to play with).
Due to the nature/ fabric of the dress, it would fit up to a size 12 - it just depends on the tightness & fit you are after. If you were a size 12, then the stock photo included (last photo) would be a more accurate reflection of the fit (aka tighter through the hips and thighs).

The dress measurements themselves for the UK 12 are: Bust: 93cm Waist: 76cm Hip: 104cm My measurements are about 1-2cm smaller than these. I am 167cm tall and wore 10cm heels on the day.
Dress is being professionally dry cleaned at Blue and White Dry Cleaners in Neutral Bay (cost an arm and a leg for $850).
Dress is made from “vegan” silk.
