This beautiful custom made Merla gown was made in April 2017 in Pallas Couture Sydney.

This dress was originally purchased for $15,000 and is for resale.

This dress is a size 10AU, and will comfortably fit a size 8AU also.

The Merla is part of Pallas Couture's La Lerne Spring NYC Collection - as seen on the Pallas Couture instagram account & website - http://pallascouture.com/collections/la-verne-spring-in-new-york/

It has a blush base filled with beautiful French lace embellishments and beading and is fully boned giving the original Merla a unique and beautiful twist.

The dress is fitted around the bust and hips, then flares out below the knee. A stunning medium length tulle train with a hand loop and bustle accompanies it so you can shorten the train and dance the night away. The embroidered & beaded arm cuffs are detachable which can be changed after the ceremony for a different look!

The dress had been dry cleaned for $300 and has come out sparkling new. It will come with its original Pallas Couture ribbon & dust bag. The dress also has already incorporated 'something blue' with the Pallas Couture tag, which is something less you need to worry about when organising for your big day, (if you like to keep it traditional!). There was a minor repair made on the inside tulle of the train, however this is not at all visible.

Bust: Size 10 & C cup
Waist: 68cm
Hips: 84cm

The veil is also included in the price of the dress, which was an additional $700. It is in great condition & was super comfortable & easy to dance in ;)

As much as I would love to be able to keep this dress forever, it is way too beautiful to be stored in my cupboard. And while it is still current and very on trend, I wouldn't want another beautiful bride to miss the opportunity to wear the Pallas Couture Merla gown on their own special day.

Alterations

An invisible zip has been fitted behind the buttons so it is easier to get in and out of the dress (given it is mermaid style you will need to take it off to use the bathroom). The buttons have been sewn over the zip to maintain its original look which is shown in the photos. A bustle has also been fitted so the train can be lifted off the ground to make it easier to walk around after the ceremony. This is shown in the photos however it doesn't need to be used if preferred.
