The Dress

This dress is made of ivory chiffon embroidered lace overlaying a cashmere colored satin lining. There are multiple layers of chiffon underneath as seen in the photos. This dress is absolutely beautiful and in brand new condition. It was sent out for professional preservation directly after the wedding and has been in the preservation box ever since. It will be shipped to you in the same box. This dress was very easy to move around in and very comfortable. It was 85 degrees the day I got married, outdoor ceremony and reception, and the dress was incredibly cool. It was very easy to get on and off. I didn't even need to wear shapewear, but you easily could. This dress is beautiful with enough detail to be memorable but not over the top.

Alterations

I ordered a 12 to accommodate the bust.
The dress was altered to fit my measurements - Size 8.
The bust has cups sewn into it.
It was also altered to add boning in the upper part of the dress (it stays up on its own) and an invisible zipper in the back. It was very easy to get on and off. The dress fit like a glove after alterations. This dress is easy to alter according to my seamstress. If you are at or a little below my measurements, it will fit you beautifully.
