The Dress

This is a never-worn, unaltered Laure de Sagazan Bukowski dress. It was the floor sample at Everly Fine Bridal, but has absolutely no signs of wear at the hem and is clean.

This dress is made of beautiful silk crepe, with a double lining in fine silk. The top is lined in the front, with beautiful french lace and an open back. The sleeves are capped and puff out slightly.

I purchased this in September 2022 heavily discounted - I paid $1150 canadian after tax. I am selling for the same price. The dress is priced so low (retails for $4500 canadian plus tax) because of a small (.25cm) tear which is very fixable with a few expert stiches, at the back bottom of the zipper. While the small zipper tear is repairable, it created a run straight across all the way to the right side seam of the dress. The pictures reflect the damage. I am unsure if the run is fixable, but honestly it's barely noticeable so I wouldn't have even bothered.

I planned to wear a veil which completely covered it. The luxury of the silk fabric and the beauty of the dress as this low price made up for the flaw, in my opinion, but please be aware that the dress has this flaw before you purchase.

It is an unaltered US size 6. I would have needed the bust area taken in as I am a 30B, but there is plenty of room in the bust for larger chests. The waist is the only fitted part of the dress at 27". My hips are 39", I would say there are a couple extra inches of room at the hips as well.

I am 5'9" and the dress would have needed to be taken up even with heels. Plenty of length for taller women! Or easily hemmed.

I love this dress but want my tattoos covered for my wedding photos, so will be wearing long sleeves.
