The Dress

I bought this gown as a sample and wore it for my wedding ceremony in October 2022. I did not wear this dress for dancing. This classic is my dream bridal gown and it delivered beautifully. It has a corset inside that makes you look more attractive. The dress would be 6000£ at the flagship store and I think that this is an absolute steal. It is now dry cleaned and looks very good. I still have the original Caroline Castigliano tags that will come with the dress. From the designer’s website: The Mariah bridal gown has a timeless silhouette; a fitted Silk Satin bodice is paired with a full circle, layered Silk Organza skirt. The boned bodice features a peaked neckline with a deep central V-point and delicate rouleaux straps, which frames the décolletage and lengthens the body. The classic Castigliano corsetry supports and slims the waist—the bodice sweeps low at the back, cinching in the waist and lifting the bust with 16 bones around the circumference of the body. The skirt features luxurious, shimmering Italian Satin Silk Organza which is layered over swathes of soft tulle for a lighter than air, dream-like effect that swirls and dances as the bride moves. Pockets are concealed in the side seams for a contemporary edge. The nipped in waist is highlighted by a satin grosgrain sash.
