The Dress

The dress is BEAUTIFUL. The floral lace detail and feel of the dress when worn was something that I just did not see in any other designers or dresses that I tried. So comfortable and lightweight for such gorgeous detail!

There are some minor imperfections to the lace hem (pictured where the lace is slightly dirty and frayed) but this isn't noticeable when worn. It is a raw hem too so can easily be altered. There are also some marks to the underskirt so for this reason I do recommend a dry clean but of course this is up to you!

I am 5'3 but did wear 3.5 inch heels and kept some length to the gown so my shoes were completely covered.

Also the label is 18 but this was from my measurements 12 months prior to the wedding. On the day I was in between a 14-16. Measurements added to help!

Alterations

The gorgeous boning to the corset was altered to rest above my wait as it should.

The dress has been lined so is not see through as in website photos. All latte underlining so gorgeous and flowy.

The dress does not come with the jacket featured on the website as we used this to make a bow for my hair (I am keeping the bow). There are some off cuts in the bag which you could make into detachable sleeves.

My seamstress also used some of the floral lace detail from the jacket to add to the sweetheart neckline of the dress, to soften that edge (pictured). So this dress is truly bespoke 🥰
