The Dress

I just wore this beautiful dress for my wedding in October 2022! It is a classic silk ballgown with a big bow in the back :) There is also a train that can be removed before bustling. The bustle is very simple, with just 4 hooks. Color is "silk white" according to the bridal shop I purchased it from in Boston.

SIZING AND ALTERATIONS: It is a size 6 with NO alterations to the bodice of the dress. The only alterations were for hemming of the dress length. I am 5'9.5'' and wore 2.5" heels, so anyone shorter than this could purchase this dress and hem it to their appropriate length.

CONDITION: I got the dress dry cleaned within a week of the event. There are some LIGHT stains toward the bottom of the dress, where the dirt from the floor darkened the dress that night. The dry cleaner removed these so well that I initially didn't notice them. An example of these stains is shown in the photos above. I am happy to share more detailed photos of these stains (or do a FaceTime) with anyone who asks! My hope is that anyone shorter than my height would remove a few inches from the bottom of the dress anyway, rendering these stains insignificant.
