The Dress

This dress was a Disney princess's dream come true when I wore it with my prince at Sleeping Beauty Castle at Disneyland! I felt like I was floating on a cloud with the many layers of tulle that moved and twirled around me as I walked and danced. It fit perfectly and I'm so happy with my choice of dress for our magical day.

This is actually a custom Casablanca dress that is (according to the label): Light Champagne/Nude/Rose Gold/Silver
The top is so sparkly and beautiful so I had Casablanca customize it with an extra layer of sequined tulle under the horsehair so that it was really sparkly and shimmery in the sun and when we danced.

This dress is pretty light for how big it is because it is mostly tulle. It fits inside the garment bag well. I just brought a small steamer to Disneyland and ran it over the top couple layers to get out the wrinkles from the bag. The bottom lining edge is a little dirty from wearing it and a few places on the outter layers are dirty, but it's not bad. I'm sure a dry cleaner could easily get it out (and the dirt is underneath where no one would see it). I think there is only one small imperfection on the edge of one layer of horsehair. It is a small one or two inch tear that doesn't even go through the entire layer, just the top layer of the edge. I wore it this way because no one would notice it.

Alterations

The dress was altered to have a bustle. It really didn't need it because I could walk and dance before it was bustled, but it also looked really beautiful bustled at the reception.
