The Dress

Beautiful Boho Dress: this dress made me feel so confident and elegant on my big day. I hope to pass it on to someone else who will feel the same. This dress is whimsical and offers something a little different than an all-white dress. The under skirt is a Rum color and the leafy porcelain lace can shine in the right light. The balloon sleeves and sheath skirt made the dress so flowy, perfect for my fall wedding (I am sure it would be great for a Winter or Spring wedding too). I wasn't too hot or cold honestly, my arms were covered yet my back was more exposed, it felt very balanced. I am sure it would make every body type look amazing! The designer recommends not altering more/less than 6 inches in any area.

Alterations

Size 20 with the designer, had it altered to fit my height of 5 feet, 5 inches. My alternations were made to keep the length in the back so there was an option to bustle it and have a court-length train. I did alter the back of the dress, so it was less exposed, you can see a small fold where it was made in the 3rd picture. There are 5 buttons for the bustle to fold into three areas (seen in the 5th picture). One button was torn in during the wedding, but I am having it fixed now. I am also including extra lace that I got from the designer; they are the same leaf laces about 18 inches in length and 6 inches in width (2 qty).
EDIT: Confirmed with my seamstress, the exposed back can be return to the normal length by undoing the seams. Also, the cups can be removed for different sizes as needed. Bustle is all fixed up with a new button. No noticeable difference from the original.
