The Dress

I know people talk a lot about the moment where you find the dress that’s the one and how amazing it is. I never really thought it would ever be *that* big of a deal. But the way I felt in this dress was unreal! It did not fit in the description of what I was looking for. My sister was like I know this might be a lot for you but try it. I tried it, and I loved it. It was just oh it looks nice (which is really does) but it was the feeling I had in that moment. I have never felt so special because of a piece of clothing. I was so in love with it that I disregarded the fact that it was over my budget. I knew I would cut costs elsewhere because I could not leave the store without feeling like it was for me. This dress is so well designed and has so many beautiful features that I know it has the power to create that same feeling for someone else! That might just be you :)

After the wedding, I got it preserved and dry cleaned through David’s Bridal. It is clean and good as new. As much fabric as there is in the skirt portion, it barely got any dirt on it. It was great. Now it’s all boxed up and I would love for someone else to experience it. I am happy to provide more specifics if needed. Thank you for reading!

Alterations

My alterations were mostly centered around making it fit well in the chest area (I had enough support to not wear a bra and I’m 34DD). additionally, they had to bring a lot in on the sides. Overall, it was about making it a snug and secure fit. However, I do not believe that any of the alterations significantly impacted the overall size measurements.
