The Dress

Eva Lendel Jess dress with detachable train, bought from Natalie Rose Bridal in Parnell (March 2021) for $3300 ($2800 for the dress and $500 for the train) and has had approx $700 of alterations. Only worn for the day in January 2023, has been dry cleaned twice as I wasn’t satisfied with the first attempt. Comes in the fabric bag.
This dress most definitely needs to have her moment again, especially with the detachable train! Great for dramatic photos and easy to remove when Beyoncé comes on! 👌👸

I am and NZ size 12, 12C in bras, and am [removed]cm) the dress has had the following alterations:
- hem
- Minor shaping around the hips
- Darts in the back
- Darts in the back of the sash (see pic, hardly noticeable) as it was loose around my shoulders
The train has had no alterations.

The dress and train are made from Mikado, a really forcing fabric which photographs well and is forgiving with creases unlike satin or silk.
Definition: Mikado is a precious fabric made according to an ancient Japanese silk processing technique, which makes the fabric slightly grainy on the surface, but at the same time shiny and extraordinarily bright.
