The Dress

Purchased in Montreal at Ma Cherie Bleue in December 2021 for $2,600 CAD including taxes, and was made to order for my August 2022 wedding!
Alterations were done locally by a professional seamstress (total cost $600), and the dress was dry cleaned professionally with no residual stains or marks at all. It looks in perfect condition!

This was my dream wedding dress - elegant and timeless, but still modern in just the right way. It was perfectly fitted while still being so comfortable to wear all day throughout photos, our ceremony, and cocktail hour (I did change to a less formal dress later in the evening, but easily could have worn this one the whole night!). There is a hidden button on the lining of the dress which can be used to bustle the train, and the material is amazing quality and soft with just the right amount of stretch for comfort. I left the boning in the cups as I wanted a more structured look, but it could be taken out for a more relaxed fit. The dress doesn't wrinkle easily and is very quick and easy to steam.

For reference, I am approx. size 4 in US dresses, 32D bra size, 115 lbs, 5'-3", worn with 3" heel.

Alterations

I had the dress altered quite a bit as I bought a full size larger than needed. The true measurements of the dress are reflective of a US size 4, and it was altered to hit the floor perfectly at 167cm (or 5'-6").
