The Dress
Beautiful wedding dress by New York designer, Kelly Faetanini. Current season (Evie). Fit-to-flair, crepe skirt. The crepe material is more forgiving than the original material, so we paid more to customise the dress to a crepe skirt!
Tulle and embroidered plunge neck body with full sleeves. Fully lined in all of the right places, structured cups and ribbed corset, which is surprisingly comfortable for how supportive it is! Buttons on cuffs (and up the entire back of the dress).
I had the top of the shoulders/sleeves altered very slightly by a seamstress, so that they don’t slide off. Very minimal adjustments. The skirt was not taken up as I wore huge platform shoes underneath it and I’m already 5’10’’ without shoes on.
Last two photos are AFTER wear (it’s still almost perfect!). The dress would look completely new if you took an inch or two off the bottom, which you could do easily if you were below 5’10’’, or didn’t wear huge shoes! I can send more photos of the dress (only 4 photos allowed on here).
