The Dress

Sad to be parting with this super stunning Pallas Couture Monte Carlo dress with customized back but hoping to make another’s brides day!

“Taking inspiration from vintage lingerie, Monte Carlo creates the mood of a modern day Princess Grace, with a corset-style bodice featuring a sensual line of discreet covered buttons. Swirls of hand applied heavy frost-white crystal beading and figure-hugging seaming create a classic column”

The back was customized to be a low back square fit, basically the same as the Georgia gown, which is very flattering. Included is a matching embellished 1.5cm wide belt (350AUD extra)

Lined with semi transparent natural white and nude tulle as Pallas standard. I did not wear a bra or nipple covers and just wore high waisted nude spanx and felt secure and it was not see through at all. However, if you are concerned about this, an extra layer of silk can be added by your tailor.

The hand embellishing of the crystal beading is so stunning, it sparkled under sunlight and lights. I received so many compliments. It was sexy and romantic leaning into a classic old Hollywood vibe without being too showy or gaudy.

Also can be topped with a Pallas Couture detachable white silk skirt if you are wanting a 2 part look (not included - available to purchase at the designer’s website)

Originally was a Pallas AUD size 16 but tailored to a size down. My tailor had no issues and said it could be tailored more. She works with couture gowns only and was very impressed with the quality of this dress.

My measurements at the time were:
Bust 38 inches / 96.5 cm
Waist 29.5 inches / 74.9 cm
Hip 40.5 inches / 102.9 cm

I’m 5’7” and wore 2.5” heels so it was hemmed appropriately for 5’10” height - could not see my shoes at all so would work for a slightly taller woman too I think

Cup size is a D but I did have my tailor take the cups in near the straps to fit better to the curve of my bust better. When she hemmed the dress, she beaded the hem with horsehair. Bustle added as well for easy dancing and walking around the party
