The Dress

This Mariana Hardwick gown was custom made for my wedding day. The original gown had lace on the bodice and was a two tone dress, i chose to remove the lace and have the dress all made in ivory. The dress has a lovely V neck and beautiful capped sleeves with a low v back.

The bodice is made from crepe satin and is structured and tight fitting with extensive boning throughout. Although the bodice does have a lot of boning i found it really comfortable and easy to move around in (i did a lot of dancing!!). The bodice really held me in, in all the right places. It also has satin buttons down the back of the dress (with a hidden zip), i had the back slightly lowered form the original design.

The skirt is made from the highest quality organza and tulle. The tulle was used for the underneath layers and i had extra added to make the skirt look fuller. The organza on the top layers is amazing, so soft and beautiful to touch. The long train bustles up easily at the back with buttons and loops.

This dress was an absolute dream for me, everything i always wanted, you will not be disappointed.

The dress and the veil have been dry cleaned by a recommended Mariana Hardwick dry cleaner (best in the business) and is in perfect condition.

This dress retails for $8,200 plus $300 for the matching veils on two separate clips. A short veil to cover the face and a long veil for the back. I am happy to throw in both veils for nothing.

I am usually around a size 8 AU in clothing with a cup size of B-C (no bra required and the padding could be removed if required)

My measurements are as follows:
Bust 86.5cm
Waist 61.5cm
High Hip (Bum) 80.5cm
Length from Waist to hem 109cm

The dress has only been worn on my wedding day 20/06/2015 and is kept in the Mariana Hardwick garment bag.
