The Dress

I bought my beautiful dress in 2019 with a 2020 wedding plan, which got pushed to 2022, when I finally got to where it. It is from Canadian designer Lis Simon, absolutely exquisite and of high quality.

The top is made of of delicate lace, and is form fitting while from the waist downwards it is a voluminous gown. It also comes with an extra under skirt chiffon to make it even more voluminous (although I didn't need it).

The dress has a modern look with a V shape in the front and back, while the lace keeping it elegant and timeless. I absolutely loved it and felt beautiful in it. I wore boob tape to keep everything in place. I got married in an Italian castle and the dress was absolutely perfect, I received so many compliments. I am sad to part ways with it but do not have enough storage room for it, and am hoping to make another bride very happy with it!

It got professionally washed and is in pristine condition.

Alterations

As I purchased it in 2019 prior to the pandemic, I had 2 babies in the meantime (3 months before the wedding) so I altered it slightly to make it bigger around the waist. The alterations kept true to the style of the dress. The dimensions included are the dimensions I had at the moment of wearing the dress.
