The Dress

I bought this stunning, Art Deco gown from Stillwhite with no alterations. I had it altered to fit my 5’2” height with 3 inch heels, added a bustle, and had the waist taken in a bit which is why you might see the embellishment at the waist seems a bit higher in the back than the front.

The dress is in great condition and is dry cleaned/preserved with no flaws. The straps don’t look prestine on close inspection. They are not damaged or frayed, but don’t look straight out of the store, which is why I didn’t list it as “excellent” condition.

I got so many compliments on this dress! I have “real woman” proportions and felt stunning on my special day!

This gown has heavy beading with a peach/beige toned mesh in the deep plunge neckline. The plunging neckline isn’t scandalous and felt age appropriate for someone over 35.

One note is the lace/beading on the back wouldn’t lay flat without some fashion tape. The seamstress said it was a fit issue that couldn’t be fixed with alterations, but may have been due to my wide frame.
