The Dress

This is the exact same dress Jules from Married at first Sight wore on her first Wedding Day, by J'adore Bridal. Purchased from Bridal Brilliance in November 2021, this dress is absolutely stunning from all angles.

If you are scared of sequins, this dress is the perfect compromise, the intricate sequin and embellishment detail on top of the lace-work has all the sophisticated elegance whilst incorporating a v-neckline, sheer embellished lace back, with an intricate lace design and feather detailing.

My favourite thing about this dress was it did not hug around the tummy area, I have a c-section pouch which made it difficult to find the right dress, but this was perfect and eliminated the need for shapewear. Incredibly comfy and I was able to move around freely throughout the day and evening.
The dress is in excellent condition, it was professionally dry cleaned after the wedding and is ready for its next bride.

Alterations

It was purchased as a size 18 and had alterations done. Would fit a NZ size 12-14 figure.

The shoulder straps were taken up slightly, taken in at hips and waist, illusion lace added to bust area, finger loop added to inside of lining to lift dress if needed for walking/dancing. I’m 167cm tall, and wore a medium height heel.
