The Dress

Suzanne Neville Romance with the only alterations made to shorten the length - the rest of the dress remains as it was made. The dress has a boned corset with lacing underneath buttons all the way down the back. The corset has beautiful delicate appliqué leaves all over it and a straight skirt. It is a fantastic fit, keeps everything secure but you are able to move around. Delicate lace drop sleeves can be worn over the shoulders or tucked in. I had a loop added underneath to hook around the elbow to make dancing easier. One of the lace sleeves also came loose during the day so was reattached while I wore it, though I am not sure exactly which one this is. The dress has been dry cleaned and there are still some marks around the hem. The train is relatively large so these are not immediately obvious when you wear it. If the dress were to be taken up by a few inches, these would be removed completely. (Thanks to my parents for the slightly dodgy video - I can share more!)

Alterations

Shortened the length to fit me around 170cm in height with shoes. Two loops added so it can be hooked onto the elbow.
