The Dress

I'm selling my amazing, classy, and elegant wedding dress!

Frankly, I felt absolutely beautiful in this dress and wish I could wear it all the time! The detailing is beautiful, and it was very form-flattering while covering up any tummy so I could eat, take photos, and not worry about anything!

Brand: Ines Di Santo

Style: Melody (I've attached a runway show photo of the dress, but mine is all white/ivory and with shorter sleeves).

Description: An embroidered tulle A-line gown with scooped neckline and natural waistline.

- Bought this dress from a Bijou Bridal sample sale (they take care of their dresses very well and have great service). The original full retail price is $9,160+taxes but I got it at a sample sale for $2,052.
- Minimal alterations were done as the sample size fit me perfectly, but I just paid to clean up any loose fabric ends, fix the zipper and add a bustle for ease of moving around after the ceremony. This was an additional $800.
- The dress has also already been thoroughly dry-cleaned and is ready to wear again! This was an additional $250.
- Total cost of dress, alterations, and dry-cleaning are close to ~$3,102.
- I am 5'6, wore 2.5" heels, and typically wear a size 4 or S in clothing.
- I also only wore this dress once for my wedding day for a few hours so it is in excellent condition, and had them fix it up a bit after I wore it (to clean up the minimal wear and tear) so it really is in great condition.

Bonus: this dress has cute little mermaids stitched into it (see photo attached). They are also not super obvious so if mermaids aren't your thing they aren't really noticeable. But if you do like mermaids, it's a fun and cute detail to point out and great for conversation.

Alterations

Minimal alteration done as the sample size fit me perfectly. All that was done was fixing up the zipper, cleaning up any loose fabric ends, etc. A bustle was also added for ease of moving around after the ceremony.
