The Dress

This was truly a dream dress, and while I would love to keep it, I would be so happy if it were to have a second life rather than sitting in my closet. This dress was custom, combining the beautiful beaded top of one Jane Hill style and the classic crepe fitted bottom of a more simple style. I also paid to have buttons added all the way down the back of the dress. I only altered the hem slightly for my height, and I added a french bustle, which was beautifully done and very secure with three easy ties.

The dress felt great to wear and could be worn at a summer or winter wedding. The mesh on top was completely invisible and the beading was not heavy. I am so happy I went with a custom design, as it mixed intricate beading with the curve hugging skirt of the dress, which was incredibly flattering and classic. For reference I am 5'7-5"8ish, athletic build, 125 lbs, B cup.
