The Dress

This is the beautiful Halfpenny London Iris Slip Dress with the Manet Cape worn on top. I can't tell you how special I felt in this dress and the number of compliments I received on the day and afterwards! It's elegant and timeless yet quite modern feeling and can be worn in several different ways.

The slip dress is made from a heavy, soft silk which is incredibly flattering. It's a lovely ivory colour and the dress sits on a bias with a beautiful low back.

The Manet shrug and cape is made from a delicate ivory tulle and can be worn as desired around the shoulders. The long flowing cape panels are attached to the shrug by several tiny poppers and so can be removed from the shrug itself, giving maximum versatility on the day. I wore the cape for the ceremony and reception and removed it for the dinner and party (see picture number four).

The dress has been dry cleaned and comes from a no smoking, no pet household. There are some very small snags on the dress that are barely visible and some very slight staining to the very bottom of the dress, which again is not visible unless looked at very closely.
