The Dress

Selling my beautiful wedding dress. Very flattering design for a curvy bride.

Maggie Sottero wedding gown, ivory over champagne with over £500 of tailoring and bespoke shear jacket (unworn).

- lightweight multi-layered tuile bottom of the dress (no hoops etc)

- Dress zips up at the back followed by row of buttons

- Lace detail is fantastic and the dress is incredibly comfortable

Dress has no major damage (only minor in expected) on the bottom tuile. It has not been cleaned and shows minor (expected) discolouration to the bottom. One piece of fabric is missing on one of the buttons but this can easily be fixed or replaced. Dress will come in original dress bag and with original hanger.

I had a matching tuile shear jacket tailored to go with the dress (£100) in a 1960s Audrey Hepburn style which is unworn. It has matching buttons which continue from dress up to the neckline.

Alterations

- Hand sown lace detail on bodice added to hem.

- Bodice adjusted to include extra boning all around (like a corsette)

- 2 x hook up options added

- Dress hemmed to 5ft4 height, no heels (minor adjustment to standard 'shorter' Maggie Sottero length)

- Originally a size 22, adjusted to measurements approx: bust 50", waist 38" so will fit around a size 18-20 on top (flowing nature of the bottom part of the dress will probably allow upto 55" on the hips)
