The Dress

Beautiful Allure fit and flare wedding gown, listed as size 18, but will fit a 16 or larger 14 (which is the size I am). Stunning, quality, ivory lace gown with V neck and capped sleeves. Keyhole open back with lovely diamante detail down the whole length of the train. Part button/part zip fastening. Built in bra cups which held everything in place! The dress has a diamante broach on the satin belt at the waist. There is a tulle underskirt to give the full trumpet effect at the bottom of the dress.
This was my second time around wedding dress and I decided, in my 50s, to wear a full length gown again at a small venue. I am sure it was meant for someone much younger but I felt wonderful wearing it and was escorted by my daughter in the photos.
A real bargain as the RRP for the gown was £1800.00 in 2020, but I purchased the dress for £850.00 in the sale, in July 2020. The dress is in an excellent, as new, cleaned, condition - only worn for a couple of hours as I changed in the evening. It was a beautiful dry day so there was no trailing of the train on damp ground and it was looked after very carefully. A real bargain at this price. Postage by Royal Mail signed for £9.05 (parcel up to 10kgs).

Alterations

The shoulders have been professionally lifted by about an inch.
