The Dress

Truly, a beautiful Martina Liana ballgown. I loved the traditional silhouette already, but all of the lace florals and shimmery details really made it something special. The amount of compliments I have received from wearing this dress was honestly overwhelming in the best way. Fabric: The fabric is a combination of lace, tule, and organza. Underneath is the unique moscato color and on top lays all of the stunning white lace detailing. Fabric covered buttons run down the back of the dress as well. I was immediately drawn to this dress because I just loved how the colors looked together. I was going for something timeless, but with a little something special and unique as well.

Fit: The silhouette of this dress makes it so easy to fit into. Im curvy and between a 10/12 and this dress fit perfectly. Even if my weight fluctuated a little, the dress always still fit. Undergarments were not necessary because the dress has built in padding for the bust, but shape wear could still be worn on the bottom if needed. Getting in and out of the dress was also very easy. Only the top 6 or so buttons need to be undone and you can easily step into it or pull it over the head.

Bustle: I paid extra for the bustle to be added. There are clear snaps and loops throughout the back of the dress (you really cannot see them unless you know that they're there, and even then they're nearly impossible to see), but it can all be very easily removed if desired. Also, I kept the instructions/ diagram that the seamstress gave me and I can include that with the dress if wanted.

Alterations

Not many alterations were needed. I only took off about 6 inches off the bottom hem. For reference, I am 5'4 and wore 3 inch heels.
