The Dress
This dress was a dream to wear. The beautiful cathedral length train photographed so well and really gave everyone that 'WOW' moment when I walked down the aisle.
It's so comfortable and flattering - with the A line silhouette to emphasise a small waist and the beautiful ribbon corset back.
The colour is gorgeous - it's got an ivory lace on top, with a champagne and honey fabric underneath.
I think the lace at the bottom of the dress is my favourite part - such a unique feature, and one of the reasons I fell in love with this dress.
This dress is 55 inches long. I am 5'3" and wore shoes that were 6cm (2.5 inches) high. It was the perfect length.
This dress is a US size 4 / AU size 8. This is my normal dress size. It is slightly adjustable due to the corset back, so you don't have to worry about losing or gaining a small amount of weight as it is not super fitted.
Alterations
Add a bustle. Shorten straps. The material was not cut, it was folded over and sewn. If you have larger shoulders than I do, a professional seamstress could unpick the alterations done to the straps.
