The Dress

This lovely dress has a bodice with a Venetian lace overlay with lace cascading appliqués flowing into the tulle skirt and a silk shantung ruching to define the waist. There are subtle beading details around the bodice which bring a little sparkle but not overly showy. The dress is fully lined with a crinoline underneath and it contains elastic bands inside to hold the bodice in place. Ladies if you have already been dress shopping and seen a lot of heavy dresses, you will appreciate the light weight of this one! The classy, earthy, bohemian feel of this dress had me at first sight and I hope it does you too! This dress has been professionally cleaned and stored climate controlled until I did the listing photos. No stains or tears. Excellent condition. No smoking or other foul odors. For size reference I am a 2 petite, but have long legs for my height of 5’2” and wore a 2 inch heel with this dress. Cup size D and I still had a little more room for the girls, but I chose not to alter the bodice.

Alterations

Dress has only been been altered in the skirt, for length, and a French bustle was added. Contains numbered ties underneath for the bustle.
