The Dress

I LOVED wearing this dress. It was way over my original budget but I don't regret it for a second! I felt elegant and beautiful but also young and modern.

Our ceremony wasn't until 4pm so this dress got a few less hours of wear than a normal dress.

It's in very good condition and I've had it dry cleaned. The second to last photo shows a few splash marks which haven't come out 100% and the last photos shows some discoloration to the very bottom edges. As someone who was so worried about getting the train dirty I can tell you it is unavoidable as soon as you step outside! And as you can see from the fifth picture you can't notice them at a distance.

Alterations

Has been taken in at the straps ever so slightly but not much as you can see the spaghetti strap still starts on the front side. The V is still low back.
Has been taken in at the small of the back to make it tighter on the bum by about 0.5 inches and bust by about 1 inch.
Has been taken up in length and train shortened a bit. I am 5ft 3in and was wearing 3 inch heels.
It has a custom split in the skirt which I put in to show off my shoes. It also made the dress much more comfortable and easier to dance in!
My seamstress also added very clever hidden bustles (and a wrist loop) so the train can be moved up for dancing in the evening.
Cups have been sewn in but I've shown how minimal the stitching is in the photo - these can easily be removed/moved/replaced.

Before alterations the measurements of the dress were...
Bust - 33 inches
Waist - 26 inches
Hips - 36 inches

After they are likely to be more like:
Bust - 32 inches
Waist - 25 inches
Hips - 35.5 inches

But the material is VERY stretchy so even if your measurements are more than this it will still fit - it will be a more bodycon type fit.
