The Dress

Fitted, structured, and elegant: when wearing this gown, I felt like I was a fully modern bride tapping into something timeless. Best of all, I felt like the best version of myself.

The draping throughout the bodice and the structured, semi-visible boning are my favorite parts of this work of art.

I would like to pass this gown along to someone who can make it their own.

There is a small mark on the back of the dress near the zipper and another small mark on the front. A bit of dirt is on the hem from the lawn and the wrist loop could probably use some reinforcement. I think that the marks should come out with a good clean (or a hemming), but don't want to say for sure until after the cleaning. The loop would probably be quick and inexpensive work for a seamstress.

Alterations

This gown is a size 10UK/6US - there are two key alterations:
- Two snaps (not visible) on the front/sides of the gown to secure a tulle train
- French bustle
