The Dress

I was so surprised when I tried this dress on and loved it! My consultant at the dress shop picked it out for me based on the dresses she saw me choosing. I tried it on and loved it. I bought the dress more than a year before my wedding and I never felt like I made the wrong decision in choosing this dress. It fit me so well, I loved the style and I really felt beautiful in it. It was the perfect amount of fitted for me, not mermaid but not totally shapeless. In addition to those things, I had not seen many brides wear this dress. I had never seen it before I bought it. Even after I bought it, I only saw a few brides wear it, but that's also because I was on the look out. It felt unique but also totally my style.
This dress is simply beautiful, with just the right amount of beading and small details to make it stunning. The low back, beaded lace top, the pearls on the straps and the perfectly chosen lace make the dress. The lace on the dress is more modern than typical lace. Speaking of lace, the train! The train is so pretty and intricate, but not over the top. I wasn't sure what kind of train I wanted, if any. But I could not say no to this train. The bustle is also super easy with only two clasps that don't hide the lace on the train. I know it's typical for the bride to get compliments on their dress and overall appearance on their wedding day, but I really did feel like my guests loved the dress as well.
I only wore the dress on my wedding day and had it dry cleaned, so it's in pretty good condition, just not brand new.

Alterations

I had the dress hemmed to my height (5'7 with heels on) and the bodice was tightened to fit me a bit better.
