The Dress
Silk Charmeuse dress designed in a very old Hollywood vibe. It was super comfortable and I felt glamorous wearing it, especially with the white fox shawl. The strings from the french bustle are sewn in, and some of the locations where they were tied up are torn but assuming the next bride uses the same type of bustle, I'm sure a good tailor could clean it up. The dress has been dry cleaned, but would need extra love at the very bottom of the train where there are still some tough stains from dancing. The wear and tear is largely at the bottom of the train and where the bustle was sewn in.
Alterations
Hemmed to my height and bustle sewn in. It is the kind that you tie up in bows underneath (as pictured in photos of me dancing) and untie once ready for dry cleaning. Officially called a french bustle if you want to google what that looks like.
