The Dress
I became obsessed with this dress the first time I ever saw a picture of it, and it felt like a dream come true to actually get to wear it on my wedding day. The thing that drew me to it was the lace - I love that it is such a unique pattern, unlike any other lace I've ever seen. I also loved that it was a little bit risque with the plunging neckline and see-through bodice, but still felt comfortable and not too scandalous for my more conservative relatives. Honestly, wearing it made me feel like a super hot Disney princess... which is really all I could have ever wanted from a wedding dress.
I did have the dress altered to fit me, so the bodice is now a little smaller than the size on the tag. The top fit me snugly without being too tight or uncomfortable, and the skirt has just the right amount of tulle layers - enough to look full and twirl well, but not so many that I felt weighed down or couldn't move.
