The Dress

This dress was an absolute dream! I loved every minute in it and I ended up wearing it much longer on my wedding day than I initially planned for.

I really wanted to feel like myself on my wedding day but also elevate my look, and this dress allowed me to do that. I received so many compliments on the simple and classic look.

Alterations

- I am quite short (5'1") but had the length altered with 4 inch heels so the length would still work for some taller ladies with shorter shoes. You could also get the length a bit shorter if you were worried about tripping - I had to do some extra kicking to make sure I made it safely down the aisle.
- I lost some weight between purchasing the dress and my wedding so the top of the dress was taken in to the measurements that are included above (35 bust and 28 waist). I am also a B cup and did not require any cups or bra.
- The straps were not altered at all.
- A single button and loop were added for the bustle (easy enough that my husband did it for me before we entered the reception!)
