The Dress

My dress is embellished in ivory lace and pearl beads, and has a latte undertone in one of the layers. This is what made this dress stand out to me. It really suited my skin tone, and I fell in love with it as soon as I put it on.
I loved that the dress had a corset so weight fluctuations weren’t an issue, and that I could resell it to someone in a size up or down, or to a body shape that it suited.
It has a subtle train, and the lace detailing on the bottom is gorgeous.
In the photos, I paired it with my mothers wrap. You can take this if you like or choose the strapless dress only.

I bought it in January 2022, and wore it dress in April 2022, and had it professionally dry cleaned shortly after.

If I were to wear it again, I would have the lace detail under the bodice line altered back in under the skirt. This would make it the way the designer intended it, but it is only a personal preference.
I loved the weight of the dress and felt most beautiful that day. Selling it at a lower price because I would like to get rid of it.

Alterations

Ballgown size was reduced and some pins were added. The lace from the bodice was kept out as a detail but can be altered to place back in.
