The Dress

Ivory wedding dress. Beaded fitted bodice, sweetheart neckline, dainty off-the-shoulder lace drop sleeves, Beautiful full train edged in lace, with finger loop for after the wedding and/or a bustling hook. Beautifully beaded and buttoned back with hidden zipper. I am 5’2” tall, and I wore a short heel with this dress. Waist measurement 24 inches, small ribcage, bust size 32C. The bodice is very fitted.
I loved this dress. I am short, but I am curvy, and this dress did all the right things for me! The plain unadorned skirt made me look a little taller, and the off-the-shoulder neckline made my very narrow shoulders look beautifully wide to balance out my hips. I had a summer wedding, so the tiny drop sleeves were perfect. My wedding was 35 years ago (yikes!), so I guess this dress would be almost considered vintage?? Anyway, it's in beautiful condition and has been dry-cleaned, so I hope it will bring some other bride happiness on her special day.

Alterations

The skirt had to be shortened because it was too long for me. I’m small in the rib cage and waist, so that also was taken in.
