The Dress

This dress has long sleeves with subtle volume. They are sheer with beaded floral appliques. I had the sleeves custom fit to ensure they weren't too baggy (I didn't want to feel like I had wings), and also added an elastic end sewn in at the cuff so they don't fall down - you can place them wherever you prefer on your forearm, and they'll stay in place all night! The plunging neckline is sexy, but I've added a very small sheer-nude modesty bib so that there isn't too much cleavage (could easily be removed). There is a sexy slit up the dress which is the perfect balance between bohemian romance and sultry edge. The fabric and overall shape of the dress allowed for amazing movement when dancing and walking, and the sheer fabric on top allowed for the perfect glow in the sun (as you can see in the pictures). The scattered floral appliques add a feminine finish to this easy-going gown, and surprisingly weren't too heavy! I was able to comfortably wear this dress all night long without any worry or hassle. I absolutely love this dress but know I won't likely wear it again (although it could certainly be hemmed easily and transformed into a cute semi-formal or white cocktail dress!). I am on the 'shorter side, and my seamstress was able to hem the dress easily from the waist, so this can easily be adjust to fit your shape. There are even extra beads as well in case any become damaged or require fixing after alterations.

I really hope someone can enjoy it as much as I did :) It’s in great condition. Literally worn once for half a day. You won’t be disappointed!

Alterations

**as noted above:
-sleeves altered to a 'respectable' drape (the original sleeves were very fabric heavy and it felt excessive)
-added an elastic band at the wrist cuff to keep sleeves in place
-height from original dress altered to suit my height (with my small heel and height it’s about 165cm)
-sheer-nude modesty fabric added at the bust to minimise cleavage
