The Dress

This was an absolute dream wedding dress and I enjoyed every minute of wearing it! It has an elegant satin silhouette with a dramatic bow and 3 asymmetric streamers (my favorite part). The bow is not fully detachable but it is secured easily by snaps to slip in/out of the dress. The trumpet shape is very form-fitting and forgiving.

It was worn once for a wedding in 2022 - there are some areas of dust/dirt on the underside edge of the train and streamers (just haven't had a chance to get it cleaned but will update if this changes).

I also bought a custom-made minimalist veil (pictured) to match the dress and showcase the bow. It is a raw-edge veil in off-white (matches the diamond white of the dress), chapel length (90 in), and narrow width so it does not bunch over the bow. I am happy to include as part of the dress purchase if interested.

Alterations

Hips brought in as well as a little of the bust/waist so size is probably closer to a size 6. Length brought in to 5'8". Also added cups (could easily be removed). The material is high quality but heavy due to satin, and we therefore added a waist stay belt for extra support (it has 4 different hook options in case there are small size fluctuations). The stay belt is in the inside of the dress, so it has no impact on the appearance of the dress but adds more support at the waist so that the weight of the dress is not suspended on the chest/strapless neckline.

Dress was also elaborately bustled due to the bow/asymmetric streamers (definitely saving $$ on this part since you won't have to do it again!). It is not difficult but there is an order given the different components (see video).
