The Dress

Bought last year for my October wedding in Scotland. I have a matching long veil which was made the same length as the dress in the same soft tulle as the dress, it’s gorgeous and super soft but there are a couple of pulls in this. I also had very small gems added to this which just gave it a little sparkle without being too much. I can include this too. I can also include the hooped underskirt which I would say is a size 8- 10. This just kept the dress from sticking to my legs and avoided the need to kick it away from me all day!

The dress has been dry cleaned and is in very good condition. The day was dry and was all in the one venue which I got dressed in. We did go down to the beach for photos but it appears all the sand has been washed away at the dry cleaners - phew! There is one small hole in the tulle fabric on the dress near the bottom. You may need to have the length altered which might take this away and if not, there is a lot of fabric with lots of layers and this would not be noticeable when worn. There is a little clasp at the top above the bow at the back. This catch for it seems to be missing I’m not sure if this happened at the dry cleaners, it’s a very basic clasp and would be very cheap/easy to replace. This is one of a kind with the added bow which cost £200 alone. The dress was £1400 and I paid £400 to have it altered including the cups. I hope you love this dress as much as I did and enjoy it at a bargain price!

Alterations

The length has been unaltered, I am 6ft tall and wore flat shoes. I had the dress taken in at the top and the shoulders taken up. I am a size 10 in most clothes. I had a custom floor length bow added to the dress in the same fabric as the torso. I also had cups sewn into the bust but these had to be removed for dry cleaning, I can include with the sale. I am a B cup.
