The Dress

This dress is simple, elegant, timeless, and comfortable! The subtle floral pattern is great for a more natural, outdoors aesthetic.

Please note that while I am 5'6", I am more long-legged, so the torso would probably work for someone who is 5'4"/5'5" as well.

There was a bustle put in that ended up tearing. I think it can be easily stitched, but it isn't very visible (pictured). A new bustle would need to be put in if you want that. I also noticed that the top of the zipper might need to be reinforced.

Alterations

I bought this dress as a sample, and it was a size 10. I am listing as a size 8 because I had substantial alterations and a size 8 dress probably would have been a more natural fit for me. The dress is currently not cleaned, and thus is listed at a lower price, but all the stains at the bottom (from being in the dirt/grass) are minor and can be taken care of with professional cleaning. The original dress has quite a low V (even deeper than what the model is showing), so the most significant alterations were that (1) it was shortened at the straps and (2) we put a seam below the V to take in the extra fabric. We also put in sewed in cups which can be easily removed at your preference.
