The Dress

The whimsical dress of your Bridgerton dreams! This dress was custom fit made at Carol Hannah New York in January 2022 for my May 2022 wedding and it was perfect. I ordered the "cameo" color selection. I lost some weight, so despite being a label size 12 (which is more like a street size 8) it was taken in to a smaller size closer to a small street size 6, as listed. The bodice is a champagne cream (and almost rose hued in certain light) satin zip back with decorative buttons. A Juliette strap was added to create a perfect fit the day of the wedding. This dress sat right where it needed to all day. The skirt is gold foil ivory linen. It is subtle but shimmers lightly in the sunlight for a hint of magic. I had a custom French AND American hybrid bustle added to best suit the style of the dress. Photos show the dress bustled and free flowing. I am 5'6 and wore 3.5 inch heels so the dress could still kiss the ground. I had so many people gasp when I walked down the aisle and I felt so beautiful on my wedding day. The dress was worn through the ceremony and only the beginning of the reception as I wanted to keep it in perfect condition. I have had it professionally cleaned. It is still in the original carol Hannah bag and I can provide the preservation coupon Carol Hannah sent with the dress.
