The Dress

Dan Jones Schiffer gown in rose color with ivory dot overlay. This gown was originally purchased as a sample in excellent condition in an Australian size 16 (US 12) and taken down to a US street size 4. Significant alterations were made including: taking in the sides and waist, alter the length of the gown to include a small train, addition of a 3 point bustle, an additional sewn in slip, size C cups added (easily taken out), boning in sides of bodice for structure, front sheer panel taken in to reduce diameter, back sheer panel taken in to form a “V” shape. I loved wearing this dress and received so many compliments on how unique it is. The hem of the gown has some fraying and markings (see photos), but could probably be professional cleaned. Sold as is and priced to account for the significant alterations and used condition. Photos are of me in the dress post wedding. This dress has not been professionally cleaned.

Alterations

Altered to fit my body. I am five foot & eight inches tall and wore 2inch heels. Chest is 34C and 27” waist. I typically wear a US dress size 4. See above description of alterations. If you have further questions please feel free to message me.
