The Dress

This is a stunning lace Pronovias sheath/fit and flare dress with a breath-taking train. It is ivory with delicate beading to catch the light and give some movement to the gown without being overly sparkly. The straps are delicate and accentuate the beautiful v-neckline and low v-back. The lace is top quality and gorgeous. You need to see the dress in person to fully appreciate the work that went into making it!

I don't have measurements, but I would say it is a true size 10. I'm curvier through the hips and bottom and it fit me almost perfectly without alterations.

I felt wonderful in this dress on my wedding day, and it is so beautiful that it seems wasteful to have it sitting in a wardrobe. I'd love to know that it is going to bring joy to someone else on their special day.

Bought from Modes in Newmarket. I only wore the dress on my wedding day and took great care with it. It has since been professionally dry-cleaned by Regal Dry Cleaners in Newmarket.

Alterations

The straps were shortened slightly and the bust taking in very slightly. The dress was also hemmed. These alterations were minor - I would have been happy to wear it without any alterations at all.

We also added the ability to bustle the dress, and a ribbon to lift the train if desired.
