The Dress
This dress was the perfect modern take on an Elizabethan inspired design. The corset bodice and lacing is beautiful and intricate without being over the top embellished. The skirt was beautiful and whimsical without being too much fabric or too much of a 'princess' dress. It was a dream to wear and made me feel a million bucks on the day. I would be so thrilled to see someone get the same amount of joy out of this dress that I was able to on my big day!
Alterations
- Hem taken up
- Bustle added so that train could be hooked up onto the back of the skirt
- Boning added to back of dress so that it didn't sit down on the sides at the top of the dress
- Boning extended on front of dress so that the sides (near armpits) sat nice and upright
