The Dress

The Diana dress is part of the Vera Wang iconic range. This classic piece is simply timeless and withstands the test of time and never goes out of fashion. It is a modern play on the A-line ball gown, complete with statement organza ruffles and a feminine sweetheart neckline.

Hollow to floor length hem (with shoes) is 55 inches (approximately 140 cm) which I have shortened slightly but can be re-lengthened again to 55 inches. I am 160 cm and wore heels with a height of 8 cm.

The label size is US size 6 but the dress has been taken in but could be re-altered to suit a US size 6 (AU size 10 again).

Bust pads has also been inserted to create an illusion of a fuller cleavage.

I have used the renowned gown alterations specialist Sew Special (Vera Wang and David Jones Bridal's preferred alteration specialist) for this occasion and she is absolutely amazing. She has definitely kept the dress in tact for the next person should they wish to alter.

Dress has been dry-cleaned by Vera Wang's preferred dry-cleaner as well. The dress is in exceptional condition as I knew I was going to sell this dress after the wedding so I have really looked after it for the next lucky person.

It comes with the vera wang double veil (VWCLS, RRP $330) and two original 2-inches sashes in Vera Wang's signature black and in ivory. I will also throw in a Vera Wang White an embellished belt for free (RRP $200).
