The Dress

From Dando London’s Signature 2020 Collection, ‘My Fair Lady’ oozes timeless elegance and beauty. This is a truly incredible column dress with stunning embroidery and a detachable glass train edged with lace. This dress made me feel sexy and modern, but totally classy and elegant too. It ticked every box.

Standard size 10 and never altered. It is giving material.

I bought this dress at the beginning of 2020 prior to the pandemic. Our wedding was subsequently re-scheduled to 1 July 2022 (yes, we’ve just finally tied the knot!) and within this time, I decided to buy another dress.

The dress has therefore never been worn (save for having been tried on) and is in excellent condition.

It was purchased from Confetti & Lace (host to Say Yes To The Dress UK) and receipts can be provided if required.

It has been stored for 2 years in its dress bag in my smoke and pet free house and upon taking it out of the box now for a full inspection, I have noticed the following couple of marks:-

1. Inside the bust, there is a mark that cannot be seen at all from the outside. It is only visible on the dress from the inside, and therefore is not visible when being worn. See close up picture with #1 on; and
2. Two very minor dusty blemishes (that not even my husband could spot!) below the hips of the dress. See close up pictures with #2 on.

All tags that were on it when I received it are still intact. However, please note that this does not include the original Dando London tags as the manager at the store has informed me that they remove these prior to sending them out to prepare the dresses for alterations.

I’m happy for anyone local to London to come and visit the dress for own inspection. It is sold as seen as is accurately described exactly as it is.
